All hands should on deck today as Nigeira Super Eagles, tries to keep their hopes alive in the 2026 Wolrld Cup Qualifier when they host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo , Nigeira .
Under their new Coach , Eric Chelle , the Malian born sweat merchant who got his first win in his first match in charge against Rwanda 2-0 , whom the Super Eagles have not beaten in the last four campaigns in all competitions . Kudos to him for a job weldone ., after series of defeats and draws back to back against the Super Eagles in all competitions , most especially the shock 2-1 loss to Benin Republic recently .

This loss to Benin led to he sack of the former Coach and intensional Finidi George as wlell as the questioning of the Super Eagles inactivity and performance , couped with so many other controversies , ranging from the exclusion of the Spier Eagles talisman and former African Footballer of the Year , 2023, Victor Osimenhin form the team on several occasions, which Finidi was questioning his commitment to the team and the outburst from Victor against Finidi .
Now the coast of clear and Finidi is no longer the Coach , Osimenhin back in the team wanted no time to stamp and register his presence as well as proving to arm chair critics about his football prowess and tactical discipline that made him to score a brace against Rwanda that made the Superr Eagles to be firuth in Group C right now .,hoping to repeat same against Zimbabwe in Tuesday clash .

Nigeria who are firuth placed on the table with six points behind second placed Benin and four points adrift of Group leaders , South Africa , the Super Eagles should know that any mistake to lose another match spellls doom for their World Cup aspirations and Tuesday s match is a must win for Nigeria .
For the firuth time , the Super Eagles are meeting the Zimbabweeans and they won two and other third ended in a 1-1 draw .

Zimbabwe , definitly will have a mountain to climb in Tuesday s encounter , they they survived a scare when they came from behind to level up 2-2 against Benin Republic last Thursday , but this time it may not be so with t Nigerian lads who are at home and breathing with fire and brimstone to improve their lot and standing in Group C of the qualifiers .
No matter their resistance , Michael Need men will still be at the bottom of the Group C table for now , still searching for their first win having played three draw s iin their last three matches .
Can they use Nigeira to get their first win during this World Cup campaign ?? the 90 minutes of the march will give us the answer .

Zimbabweeans Warriors greatest undoing is their rare men who are heavily and permanently flat footed in most of their matches and cannot protect the goal line , a suspect defence in any team is known burden to the performance to that team , a defence that has shipped in eight goals in few matches needs overhauling , couped with their attack that lacks bite upfront . scoring only four goals .
Their defence liine will provide a free food for the eagle eyed Super Eagles attacking options of Victor Osimenhin and Addmola Lukmon.
Their over all performance do not give anyone confidence , having played five matches with two draws and three defeats .

For the team preparedness ahead Tuesday March , the Super Eagles Coach May stick to this nrormal 4-4-2 formation they sued to down Rwanda though there may be some personnel changes in the attack as well as the defence line to replace those that picked up injury in the last match in Kigali , like Bright Osyi Samuel will be replaced by Ola Aina who will switch over to his natural right ull back , while with Bruno Onyemanchi occupying the left side of the rare .
Chukwueze , who was struggling in the last match in an unfamiliar role will be replaced by Raphael Onyedika.
Alex Iwobi will pay as usual behind Victor and Ademola to assure the Eagles of the needed goals .

Predictions
Being in good spirit after the downing or Rwanda last Friday , it seems to be a more or less walk over against the Zimbabweeans whom we have a very good record in beating on our road to the world cup.
With the fire power and determination and comm tme t from Victor and Ademola , we expect a goal rain against the Warriors of Zimbabwe .
